Wendy Minto

BSc (Hons), BA (Hons)

Wendy is an Occupational Therapist with a decade of experience, including leadership.

Managing the allocation of work, screening referrals, and undertaking adult support and protection investigations, Wendy works closely with third sector agencies, providing support to individuals discharged from hospital by working alongside GP services to prevent the re-admission to hospital and to maintain independence at home.

Previously, Wendy worked privately as a case manager within the occupational therapy service in an advisory capacity compiling unbiased and impartial investigatory reports in relation to the ongoing care of children, including those with complex needs, such as ADHD, Autism, and Educational Health Care plans.

Workplace assessment and return to work plans including vocational rehabilitation, are areas in which Wendy has assisted employers and made recommendations for equipment provision.

As an Occupational Therapist, Wendy is adept in assessing individuals with profound mental health and physical disabilities including amputation, brain injury, neurological conditions, chronic regional pain syndrome, learning disability, frailty, elderly, dementia, orthopaedic and physical health needs.

She is fully trained in Civil Procedure Rules, including relevant revisions as they arise, and diligently maintains her continuing professional development.
