Stella is a dedicated senior nursing professional with over 34 years of extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of patients with a broad variety of complex needs, including spinal and orthopaedic injury.

Delivering care in the community for both adults and paediatrics, including planning and implementation of care packages involving multi-disciplinary meetings, palliative care and advanced care planning, Stella also supports the development of long-term care plans to minimise hospital admissions. Often involved in managing patients with tracheostomies, enteral and overnight continuous positive airway pressure ventilation (CPAP and BIPAP).  Being an agency nurse within the community, Stella has provided homebased care to individuals with dementia and those needing end of life care. She is adept at assessment, developing and implementing care plans that maximise independence whilst balancing ongoing care needs and has conducted both invasive and non-invasive procedures, including supra-public catheterisation.

She is competent in the management of multi-disciplinary teams, with medication requests, provision of aids and equipment, and ongoing long term adjustments in care requirements.

As a TG Expert Witness, Stella leverages the skills and expertise acquired during her career of three decades to provide accurate, holistic and impartial Care, Aids and Equipment reports for both claimant and defendant. She is fully trained in Civil Procedure Rules, including relevant revisions as they arise, and continually expands her expertise through a range of CPD activities.
