Sarah is an accomplished Occupational Therapist with 20 years of experience, across both health and social care practice for individuals with neurological and physical conditions. She has current experience of Motor Neurone Disease working as a Care Co-ordinator across the north of England.
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, Sarah has assessed and managed individuals with physical needs following surgical intervention for discharge planning, including rehabilitation requirements and home environmental assessments. This included individuals with acquired brain and spinal injury, amputations, stroke and complex fractures.
Having made recommendations for symptom management, housing adaptations, advanced decisions with end-of-life care and continuing health care assessments, Sarah provides and utilises a holistic approach to care, ensuring best practice and outcomes. Where safeguarding concerns have been raised Sarah, has worked alongside multi-agency teams.
Sarah is accomplished in the provision of complex care packages, sourcing aids and equipment and reporting on housing needs.
As a TG Associate, Sarah has extensive clinical expertise which allows her to compile objective, analytical and evidence-based Care reports including Aids and Equipment.
