Adaeze is a Specialist Critical Care Practitioner and Nurse with 15 years of diverse clinical knowledge in the assessment and treatment of patients with a wide variety of conditions. Her expertise covers, neurological and cardiac critical care, including catastrophic brain injury, spinal injury, amputation, loss of vision, and chronic illness. She has significant experience delivering care for those on long-term ventilator support, (tracheostomy, suctioning, and PEG feeding) managing elderly care and complex injury, surgical wounds, and liaising with multi-disciplinary teams, whilst supporting the delivery of extensive community care packages both within home and clinical settings.
Having provided care within specialist areas, Adaeze has worked in general wards, gaining significant experience delivering care within stroke, oncology, respiratory, palliative care, Alzheimer’s, and vascular dementia wards.
Experienced in caring for patients eligible for the Organ donation process, Adaeze is involved with the assessment and screening of potential donors overseeing both the safety of donors and recipients, coordinating the theatre process to ensure safe and effective retrieval.
Adaeze’s experience includes developing and implementing clinical policies, investigating alleged errors within clinical practice and coordinating staff training. Conducting risk assessments in relation to wound management and pressure sores, falls prevention, infusion, phlebitis, cannulation, haemofiltration, sepsis and diabetic management, Adaeze undertakes Liability and Breach of Duty Short Form (screening) reports.
As a TG Associate, Adaeze brings her wealth of clinical expertise to provide balanced, impartial and evidence-based Care, Aids and Equipment and Liability reports. She is fully trained in Civil Procedure Rules, including relevant revisions as they arise, and maintains her continuing professional development through a range of training and education activities.
