Alison Perry
RM, MMid, BA
Alison is an accomplished senior midwife with twenty years of experience, spanning both acute clinical and clinical research settings. She currently manages a multi-disciplinary research team conducting a broad range of projects in women’s health research. She is a recognised leader in her field and advocate of reproductive health and childbirth at local and national level.
Alison brings rigorous knowledge of all elements of midwifery, with experience providing antenatal, intranatal, and postnatal care across community, theatre, high dependency unit, birth centre and labour ward settings.
Alison has been academically active throughout her career and is currently developing her PhD proposal. She is a Learning Representative with the Royal College of Midwives. As a Tessa Gough Associate, Alison has over five years of experience preparing Liability and Short Form reports relating to midwifery for claimant and defendants.
