Midwifery
I am a senior midwife with over twenty years of experience in a range of clinical and research settings.
I recently managed a large clinical research team conducting a wide range of projects in women’s health research, and am now conducting my own research as a PhD candidate at Imperial College London. Based in The George Institute for Global Health, I am a recognised leader in my field and advocate of for women’s health and midwifery at the local and international level.
Academically active throughout my career I am a branch Learning Representative and Chairperson for the Royal College of Midwives and I continue as an experienced Pregnancy Loss Support group facilitator with the Miscarriage Association.
I have significant experience of international midwifery projects and consultancy including in the Sub-Saharan African settings and United Arab Emirates. I continue to lead projects in Uganda and Ghana.
