Des O’Neill

Des is a Senior Nurse with over a decade of experience spanning the private, public and voluntary sectors, including the management of forensic and acute mental health services.

He specialises in supporting the rehabilitation of patients with acquired brain injury, mental health conditions, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder and learning disabilities. Des has significant experience working within prisons, including leading quality assurance. He has also led practice development activities and the development of organisational policies, protocols and procedures.

As a TG Associate, Des undertakes both Care and Liability Reports for claimants and defendants. He is an accomplished expert witness with substantial experience assessing catastrophically injured clients, frequently with complex and multiple needs. This includes acquired brain injury, mental health issues, dementia, visual impairment and all types of physical disability.  Within liability, Des has specific expertise in Prison and mental health services.

Bethany Bishop

Bethany is an experienced senior clinical Nurse who has worked in both the NHS and private hospitals for over 30 years.

Such experience includes being fully proficient with both quality and regulatory structures throughout clinical areas including ICU, renal transplants, theatre recovery and anaesthetic pre-assessment wards.

She prepares reports for claimants and defendants and as a single joint expert in liability cases, relating to standards of nursing and care, acceptable practice and risk management.
