Fiona Stephenson

FRCN, RGN

Fiona prepares reports for claimants and defendants and as a single joint expert in liability cases, relating to standards of nursing and care, acceptable practice and risk management in respect of tissue viability management / prevention and the management of spinal cord injured patients.

Throughout her career, Fiona has worked in a variety of health care settings and has specialised in Spinal Cord Injury for ventilated and non ventilated patients. She has extensive hospital and community experience in the management of care practice including working overseas developing SCI rehabilitation centres. She has an excellent understanding of the needs of the injured person and their family in the community.

Fiona is an accomplished speaker both in relation to Spinal Cord trauma and wound management and general nursing practice.

In 2016 Fiona was made a Fellow of the Royal College of Nursing for exceptional and outstanding contribution to the science and art of nursing. She holds certificates in Education and Wound Healing and Diplomas in Management and Quality Assurance.

Bethany is an experienced senior clinical Nurse who has worked in both the NHS and private hospitals for over 30 years.

Such experience includes being fully proficient with both quality and regulatory structures throughout clinical areas including ICU, renal transplants, theatre recovery and anaesthetic pre-assessment wards.
