Helene Cross, RGN

Helene is a nursing professional with 39 years of experience across NHS, private and independent healthcare settings, including residential, nursing homes and domiciliary care provision. Previously as Director of Nursing and Clinical Services, Helene has significant management experience, having managed and directed nursing care homes, she has supported senior management teams with staff training, development and admissions of new residents. She has also managed and improved care and training services within private hospitals.

Running improvement initiatives, Helene has aligned nursing practices with resident safety. Supporting existing care managers to develop skillsets needed to safely govern and deliver high end residential and nursing services. She has worked alongside domiciliary care services to align a seven day a week service to support service users within assisted living sectors. She is able to report on respite placements, assisted living placements, convalescence, reablement and accommodation for those individuals who require nursing, complex and palliative care. She has knowledge of risk assessment relating to falls, pressure sores, fluid and food charts, catheterisation, failure to refer, bedrail use, maintaining/updating care plans, moving and handling, medication management and deprivation of liberty.

As a TG Associate, Helene prepares reports for claimants and defendants, singularly or as a joint instruction, for both Screening/Short Form Reports and Liability, Breach of Duty Reports. Her areas of expertise lay within nursing homes and residential care services, relating to standards of nursing and care, acceptable practice, and risk management.

Bethany is an experienced senior clinical Nurse who has worked in both the NHS and private hospitals for over 30 years.

Such experience includes being fully proficient with both quality and regulatory structures throughout clinical areas including ICU, renal transplants, theatre recovery and anaesthetic pre-assessment wards.

She prepares reports for claimants and defendants and as a single joint expert in liability cases, relating to standards of nursing and care, acceptable practice and risk management.
