Jennifer is an accomplished Registered Adult Intensive Care Nurse with two decades of experience across the private and public sectors. Throughout her career, Jennifer has led the assessment and treatment of critically ill patients with a wide range of surgical, neurological, medical and traumatic injuries and conditions. Having provided general nursing, working across fields including medical, surgical, respiratory, oncology, stroke, spinal, palliative, rehabilitation, elderly & dementia care, haematology and ENT wards, Jennifer has significant supervisory experience. She has led a wide variety of training and education activity, on subjects including vaccinations, basic and immediate life support, tracheotomy care, suctioning and PEG/NG feeding.
Jennifer has completed The National Framework for Registered Nurses in Critical Care Level 3, specialisms within this include ventilation, sepsis, rehabilitation, blood transfusions, intravenous drugs, hemofiltration and delirium. She is proficient in the management of epidurals and wound care. Jennifer has experience conducting a multitude of risk assessments including falls, pressure ulcer and visual infusion phlebitis. Jennifer has supported various companies in developing key policies, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and the latest evidence-based best practices. During the pandemic, she supported the set-up of a new ICU for Covid-19 patients, including training staff and providing full unit support.
Jennifer leverages her wealth of clinical expertise to provide thorough, accurate and insightful reports for both Breach of Duty and Care which includes necessary aids and equipment. She is fully trained in Civil Procedure Rules and diligently maintains her continuing professional development.
