Nicola is a nursing professional with over 17 years of experience within NHS and community settings, including significant management experience. She has led assessment and treatment of a broad range of adult and paediatric patients with complex care needs in the capacity of staff nurse, care assistant and health visitor.
Having experience in conducting community-based assessments, including, parenting skills for adults with physical and cognitive impairment, sensory processing difficulties, vocational assessment, rehabilitation and palliative care, Nicola is often instructed on catastrophic injury cases including acquired brain injury, challenging behaviours, general orthopaedics and other serious injuries. She is proficient in providing end of life care reports for cases such as mesothelioma. She has experience in implementing and managing support for the catastrophically injured with extended knowledge of the NHS and supporting statutory bodies.
As a TG Associate, Nicola prepares reports for claimants and defendants for both Care and Liability, relating to standards of nursing and care, acceptable practice, and risk management.
