- Cameron has worked within the ambulance service for over 11 years. He has more than 8 years experience as a Registered Paramedic.
- He is currently employed as a Senior Paramedic for a large ambulance Trust in the North West of England. His current role encompasses autonomous assessment, diagnosis and treatment across a broad spectrum of acute and chronic presentations, delivering high-level clinical decision-making in both emergency and urgent care settings. He has extensive experience in frontline 999 response and providing remote clinical advice to multitude of pre-hospital clinicians.
- Clinically, Cameron has extensive knowledge and experience in the management of major trauma, cardiac arrest, acute respiratory conditions, obstetric emergencies including labour, and patients in mental health crisis. He is highly skilled in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, spinal trauma, chest and abdominal injuries, and critically unwell patients with conditions such as sepsis, stroke, diabetic emergencies, and acute cardiac presentations.
- Alongside clinical work Cameron holds a leadership position, providing clinical supervision, governance oversight, and clinical support for Paramedic teams. He maintains ongoing professional development, supported by a Master’s degree in Practice Development, and demonstrates a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and the expectations of Paramedic practice.
Cameron is proud, first and foremost, to be a frontline NHS Paramedic who attends the full spectrum of emergency calls from low acuity to the most significant and critically unwell patients. Cameron has a reputation for providing exemplary oversight and leadership of Paramedic’s clinical practice, clinical development and wider service improvement.
Within the ambulance service, Cameron has significant experience, providing advice and support to in-house legal teams including representation at court as an expert.
