Over 6 years’ experience as Head of Nursing, Tissue Viability and IV Services at the Kent Community NHS Trust.
10 years’ experience as a Tissue Viability Nurse Manager and Clinical Lead at Guys and Thomas NHS Foundation where I reduced rates of acquired pressure ulcers by over 50% to under 1% via management of an associated project.
2002-2008 - Tissue Viability and Vascular Nurse Specialist at Queen Elizabeth District General Hospital.

I have always been extremely passionate about wound care related issues and supporting clinical care that enables the best patient outcomes whether that be education or innovation in practice and strive to disseminate this to clinicians and patients alike.

I have published articles in the BJN, BJD and Wounds UK.

And I have spoken at many national and international conferences on wound care and pressure ulcer prevention and innovation in practice. I contributed to national guidance and consensus documents.
