Kevin is an experienced Registered Nurse with over 20 years of healthcare experience spanning acute clinical practice, peri-operative nursing, anaesthetics, recovery, care of older people, occupational health and international healthcare.
He combines substantial clinical experience with postgraduate business and management qualifications and extensive experience within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. His current NHS practice includes anaesthetic and post-anaesthetic recovery nursing, with responsibility for patient assessment, airway management, monitoring, pain and nausea management, postoperative care, safe transfer and clinical handover.
His clinical experience also includes nursing care within a residential care setting for older people, with a strong focus on holistic, person-centred assessment and the management of complex care needs. This includes undertaking and reviewing clinical and individual risk assessments, identifying risks associated with falls, pressure damage, malnutrition and deterioration, and implementing appropriate preventative and responsive interventions.
Kevin has experience in pressure-area care, wound management, catheter care, medication administration, monitoring long-term conditions and supporting residents with frailty and end-of-life care, while promoting dignity, independence and quality of life.

I am passionate about providing high quality, evidence-based care to patients in a variety of clinical settings. I am proud to be a nurse and feel privileged to work within this profession. I have extensive experience working in the United Kingdom and overseas; as well as experience working in senior healthcare management.

I ensure that all interactions with my patients have a lasting positive impact and promote independence as much as possible, to enable a positive quality of life.
